Electronic Arts announced Thursday details on the Apex Legends Global Championship, the culmination of the Apex Legends Global Series season. Taking place May 22 – June 13, the Apex Legends Global Championship features an overall prize pool of $1M USD.
Qualifying teams from North America, EMEA, South America, APAC-N, and APAC-S will compete to be crowned the “Champions of the Arena” in their respective region, while teams that didn’t make it into the final competition for their respective regions can earn a spot in the championship event by taking part in the Apex Legends Global Championship Last Chance Qualifier, scheduled for April 23-25. Registration for that event opens March 29.
The competition is being facilitated by esports tournament platform Battlefy in conjunction with EA.

The Denver Broncos are the latest NFL franchise to sign a partnership agreement with Esports Entertainment Group, which becomes the team’s official esports tournament provider. As with previous agreements, the multi-year deal with see EEG operate esports tournaments for the Broncos using its Esports Gaming League platform, utilizing Broncos imagery to promote its events in the local market.
EEG also has partnership deals in place with the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles as well as the corresponding MLS teams Revolution and Union.
